Mission of the Rainey-McCullers School of the Arts Math Department

The mission of the mathematics department is to provide an environment where students can learn and become competent users of mathematics and mathematical application. Our goal at RMSOTA is to provide mathematics instruction that will encourage students to become accurate, efficient, and flexible problem solvers as they attend to problems and persevere in solving them by reasoning abstractly and quantitatively.
